The Art of Flow: Silk Scarf Painting

​Join me for a creative evening transforming a blank silk scarf into a wearable masterpiece! Using vibrant alcohol inks, you’ll create ethereal washes and marbled textures. These inks flow across silk fibres in mesmerising ways; because of this fluid nature, every scarf is entirely unique.

The Process:

Technique: Learn to apply and manipulate ink to embrace beautiful, unpredictable patterns.

Setting: Fix your design by heat-setting the silk, followed by a soak in a natural solution to ensure colours stay permanent. We will then dry it so that you can take it home!

Important Details:

Materials: All provided. Please bring an apron and wear old clothes.

Health & Safety: Recommended for ages 16+. Inks have a distinct scent; feel free to wear a mask (a few spares available).

Level: Perfect for beginners!
